Feasibility Surveys

When contemplating development whether it be the extension of an existing property or new builds, a feasibility survey to determine constraints may be useful and financially prudent.

Arboricultural Constraints Plans

Before Architects can design the layout of a development they need to know what restrictions there are in terms of trees.

The constraints plan will identify:

  • Shade dominant areas
  • Root protection zones
  • Position of protective fencing
  • Builders compounds

Arboricultural Impact Assessment

The impact assessment explains how the development and trees will interact together and the possible restrictions on development highlight the use of specialist construction techniques. Our many years of experience ensure that a thorough survey is undertaken which takes into account all trees which effect the development.

Arboricultural Method Statement

Once the final design is confirmed a method statement will be required detailing all the necessary tree works required and fencing required to, protect retained trees. How and where construction compounds should be sited. Specialist construction measures may be required such as mole-boring for the installation of services.

Arboricultural Supervision

Many local planning authorities (LPA). Now insist on the construction process being monitored by Arboriculturalists. This ensures compliance with the method statement and provides auditable evidence for the LPA.
