The CWS Slim range of Mondrian Glazing is a thermally broken glazing system that has been engineered with highly slim framing. Thermally broken glazing systems are used where the glazing separates two different climates, the internal and external environments for example. If the glazing did not have a thermal break then the frame on the inside would be the same temperature as the external side.

The CWS Slim range is ideal for architects looking for a new glazing system that offers a traditional art deco glazing aesthetic but with modern performance levels. Steel and bronze Mondrian style glazing are the top choice for architects due to the elegant aesthetic and architectural design qualities.

This range is engineered bespoke to each design; therefore, the framing can be manufactured to a wide selection of designs and size requirements. For a completely bespoke glazing unit, additional glazing bars can be integrated into the design of the system to accentuate industrial aesthetic.

The range has both bronze and steel products that come with a wide selection of finishing’s to meet the design requirements of a project. The bronze frame can be patinated, brush or polished to achieve the bronze frame aesthetic desired, and the steel frames are available in a traditional galvanised steel finish that can be powder coated in any RAL colour required. You can also have the same steel frames in stainless steel, Corten steel or architectural bronze. There is also a range of door handles and glass options available to meet the needs of each project.

The bronze frame comes with a fixed sightline of 32mm and a frame depth of 46mm deep, whereas the steel frames come with a depth of 57.5-65mm. Thin steel frames enable you to fit more glass into a window or door opening, thus allowing more light to infiltrate through.

The Mondrian Glazing range is an exclusive range to IQ Glass, offering a large array of windows and doors with an on trend, industrial style. Bronze and steel glazing systems are the preferred choice for architects and designers due to their unique ability to shape a window and give emphasis to the charity of glass partitions. The Mondrian range uses traditional steel to create authentic industrial glazing design suitable for inside and out. The external doors and windows are all expertly crafted with an integrated thermal break for modern thermal performance.

The Mondrian range offers slim steel frames from just 46mm whilst achieving high levels of performance and beauty, providing an art deco design appearance. Mondrian steel framings are designed to a very high standard and fabricated in their in-house factory, delivering high levels of precision and attention to detail.

The framings can be manufactured and finished in a range of designs to provide you with a unique appearance. These finishes include Corten steel, galvanised steel, bronze, brushed steel and several bespoke specialist finishing’s including PPC in any standard RAL colour. The finishing’s are individually applied and bespoke to each individual design.

These beautiful Italian systems signify intricate high-end interior design with a host of design options available for even the most discerning of client. Mondrian Glazing can be manufactured as an internal room divider/ room screen to add elegance and class to any interior design scheme. Whether you are looking for a minimal steel perimeter to your glass partition or you would like the full traditional effect by integrating bespoke glazing bars, a Mondrian steel screen is a graceful and sophisticated solution.
