This well proportioned bungalow with large rooms in the roofspace, was designed to make the most of a small plot. It originally featured as a “Dream Home Challenge” house design.

The ground floor is well equipped with a large kitchen-diner, utility room and living room. There is also a workshop adjoining the garage. An en suite bedroom situated on his floor would make ideal guest accommodation.

In the roofspace there is a master suite with a spacious dressing room. A third bedroom and a family bathroom are also placed here. Gable end glazing in the master bedroom has been incorporated to flood the room with natural light.

Ground floor:

  • Kitchen-diner
  • Utility
  • Living room
  • Garage and workshop
  • En suite bedroom

First floor:

  • Master suite with dressing room
  • Bedroom
  • Bathroom

  • Samuel Joy

    Hi Angela,

I presume you mean you can only view one image, the front elevation of the house. If you register with the site, following the link provided, you’ll be able to see the remainder of the images.

Hope this helps, and please let me know if this is not what you meant.

    Kind regards,

Can I get scale plans for this design?

  • Lindsey Davis

    Afraid not Jon.

These homes were designed for our Dream Homes Challenge and are not based on actual homes. We also don’t make a habit of handing out free plans and encourage people to appoint an architect or designer who can work with them to produce a home which suits their site, needs and budget.

There is a floor plan in the gallery, which can be used as a guide too.

I am looking at removing my large conservatory @ 9.8 mts x 4.5 mts and replacing with oak frame windows and doors, id like a slate roof with insulation etc the works, is there any help available for me here?
    Thank you.

  • Lindsey Davis

    Hi Louis,
Have you looked through oak frame suppliers?
There are a number advertising on our site and many of the case studies in the completed projects section ( are oak frame so this could give you an idea of style.
Search ‘Oak frame’ to view our oak frame case studies
Have a chat with a few companies, get some quotes and testimonials and that should give you a good place to start.
