I'm a deals newsletter editor and these are 8 early Amazon Prime Big Deal Days offers you should snap up today
If your fingertips are ready to shop in the Amazon Prime Big Deal Days sale, don't hang about. There's early offers already online and these are some of our favourites
If you're waiting for Amazon Prime Big Deal Days from 6-7 October in order to find some bargains for your home improvement projects, I say why wait? There's already plenty of deals to be had.
Whether you're looking for home security upgrades, DIY essentials or even new kitchen appliances, there's discounts already in place that are worth considering.
And, although we'll be seeking out new deals to share with you once Big Deals Days starts, here's what I think you should put in your basket today before the prices change or the deal sells out.
1. Portable room heater and fan – was £99.99
There's no limits to the talents of this portable heater. I reviewed it last winter and it was perfect for heating up a room – quickly. It's also been put through its paces this summer thanks to its cooling function. It's not a huge price reduction, but when it does two jobs for the price of one, it's worth buying in my opinion.
2. Video doorbell and camera – was £119.98
Who doesn't love a video doorbell? Although I have this EZVIZ Video Doorbell Camera it's not listed in the sale yet. Given the popularity of Ring doorbells, then this package which includes a video doorbell and indoor camera is a steal, with a great reduction that brings it to under £40.
3. Stock up on this DIY essential – was £14.99
Whether you're sanding wood, staircases or prepping MDF to paint, sandpaper is an essential in any DIY tool kit. This pack of four rolls comes in a variety of sandpaper grits to cover all of your needs.
4. Monitor your autumn humidity – was £9.99
Whether you're renovating an old house and want to check for damp, or simply want to make sure that your new home is within recommended humidity levels, this app-controlled smart room sensor makes the job easy and costs less than the price of two takeaway coffees.
5. Save on appliances – was £449
Energy-efficient appliances are a must-have with rising energy bills. This AEG freestanding washing machine has an A energy rating which makes it a great investment if you're currently choosing your kitchen appliances.
6. Influencer favourite – was £149.49
I've seen so many posts on social media about this spot cleaner that I'm definitely tempted to get one myself. With sons and a small dog, I'm constantly pulling out the anti-bac wipes to get marks off sofas and grubby carpets but they never quite do the trick. With £50 off this Shark model, it's time to accept I need something more effective.
7. Kitchen space-saver – was £89.99
My kitchen definitely falls into the small kitchen category and I've been wondering about these detachable handle sets for a while. It would make storing pots and pans in my kitchen drawers more space-efficient. And, at this price reduction for a 16-piece set I'm definitely tempted.
8. A Homebuilding favourite brand – was £189.99
You can find Meaco dehumidifiers in several of the Homebuilding team's homes (including mine), and for good reason. They are well made, do what they say and last. This dehumidifier's perfect for smaller spaces and boasts a low-energy consumption. Its 20L counterpart was also rated best in our dehumidifier buying guide.
