A contemporary single storey self build home on the site of a former bungalow in Greater Manchester. The home mixes expansive glazing and the finest modern architecture to provide a dream contemporary dwelling. The house was designed by Andrew Edmunds for Manchester-based practice Stephenson Bell.
The split level home makes the most of a sloping site. The architects have created lower ground floor with an impressive double-height ceiling reaching into a void above. This floor is open plan and houses the kitchen and living areas of the home.
