Heat pumps 'three times more efficient than boilers'

Heat pumps can operate with high efficiency — even in cold weather conditions — according to new research funded by the UK Government.

The Department for Energy Security and Net Zero’s Electrification of Heat Demonstration Project analysed the technical and practical feasibility of air source heat pumps, as well as the potential pitfalls of a mass rollout into British homes.
