The Harrogate Homebuilding & Renovating Show is set to deliver a substantial £766,000 boost to the local economy this autumn.
Attracting thousands of visitors, top suppliers, and expert speakers, the show has become a cornerstone of Harrogate’s visitor economy.
Industry professionals and local businesses alike praise the event for its contribution to the town’s growth and vibrancy, and you can attend with two free tickets worth £24.
Economic impact on Harrogate
The show attracts around 10,000 visitors who spend on hotels, restaurants, shops, and leisure, giving Harrogate a significant financial boost.
Paula Lorimer, Director of Harrogate Convention Centre, said: “We are delighted to renew the relationship with the event. The long-standing show brings together the leading suppliers and experts in the field and offers a great opportunity for homebuilders in the North.”
He said the influx of visitors not only supports existing businesses but encourages new opportunities and investment in the town.
Highlights of this year’s show
From October 31 to November 2, Harrogate Convention Centre will host over 240 exhibitors presenting the latest in homebuilding, renovation, and sustainable solutions.

News Editor Joseph has previously written for Today’s Media and Chambers & Partners, focusing on news for conveyancers and industry professionals. Joseph has just started his own self build project, building his own home on his family’s farm with planning permission for a timber frame, three-bedroom house in a one-acre field.
