Rocket Door Frames is a specialist door frame manufacturer based in Grantham, Lincolnshire, with more than 30 years' experience in producing steel pocket door frames and hinged aluminium secret/hidden door frames.

Pocket doors are sliding doors that either slide into stud work or alongside a solid wall. When combined with a suitable door frame, they look super sleek and are an excellent way of maximising space in homes, public buildings and retail areas. While Rocket Door Frames supplies the frames rather than the pocket doors, the company does have a glass door system that can provide additional light in en-suite bathrooms, for example.

Secret, or hidden doors as they are also known, are a different concept. These are designed to eliminate the use of door jambs and architraves to give a completely flush, concealed door. This means that they can become part of your interior design scheme with the same finish as your wall, a continuation of a pattern, or even a contrasting style.

In addition to pocket and hidden door frames, Rocket Door Frames also offers a range of additional products, including jamb lining kits and FD30 fire-rated protection. The company can also supply soft and self closers, handles, magnetic and touch latches and hinges in a variety of finishes, depending on the system required.

Sleek pocket door frames

Pocket door frames from Rocket Door Frames are made from galvanised steel, ensuring the best standard of frame. They are easy to install and have a number of accessories that you can add on.

This kit is suitable for:

  • Doors 35-44mm thick
  • Doors up to 60 kg in weight
  • 63mm CLS or 70mm steel stud work
  • 12.5mm standard plasterboard
  • Double pocket doors: order two single frames (joining brackets included in each single kit)

Each pocket door frame kit contains the following:

  • All the galvanised steel uprights and horizontals required to build the pocket, plus the track
  • The brackets to fit the frame to the stud work that double as plasterboard positioners and supports
  • Adjustable pocket entrance floor guide
  • Runners with carbon steel 'sealed for life' bearings
  • A spring steel door brake (soft-close option available)

Ultra Flush Door System

Rocket Doors Frames' ultra flush door system is built with a sturdy aluminium frame and offers flexible push or pull options to suit your space. The door is primed, ready to paint.

This kit is suitable for projects using minimum stud 63mm (no max) and 12.5mm standard plasterboard.

Each kit contains the following items:

  • Aluminium door frame
  • 44mm solid core flush primed door
  • Magnetic latch (Cylinder, Handle or Thumb turn)
  • Bumper seals
  • Concealed hinges
  • Hinge cover plates and strike plate
  • Please note that the handles are not included and can be purchased separately
