Has anyone any experience in using Porotherm 365 blocks? It’s suggested that these are 4 to 5 times quicker to lay and overall costs compare well. What’s the reality when using these?

They should be very quick to lay because they are a thin-joint system. However bear in mind that the laying of the blocks is but one part of masonry wall construction and far more time tends to get taken up with other activities such as placing windows and doors, damp proofing membranes and external finishes. Clay blocks are widely used on the Continent but are still a specialist product in the UK, so costs are likely to be a little higher than conventional blockwork.
