This traditional three storey home has been designed to make the most of sloping site. It originally featured as a “Dream Home Challenge” house design. The house was designed by Beverley Pemberton for Design & Materials Ltd.
The lower ground floor features two bedrooms, a bathroom and utility room. There is also a garden room with access to the rear garden. The upper ground floor is home to much of the living space.
The front of the house is at ground level and the rear is technically a second storey. This floor has a balcony/decking area that can be accessed from the sunroom, living room and kitchen-diner. Vaulted ceilings in the living room and sunroom add to the sense of space. A large master bedroom and WC are also situated on this floor.
Although it is a three storey home, the third storey is really in the roof (and not a third storey proper). On this floor there is a study/playroom and storage space. Rooflights and dormers flood the space with natural light.
