The house that is currently built on the plot is 12 years old and within current building regulations. However we are wanting to convert the stone stables which are 20-25 metres away from the main property.
Obviously, we will want to put in new drainage etc which will disturb the current groundwork. Will this be an expensive bottomless pit which we should walk away from, or is this report a generic one with regard to past problems in the area and not an unnecessary worry at this stage.
Mortgage surveyor is going out today and it’s whether we continue and go down the road of structural survey and it’s expense or back out.

Professional answers and experience will be gratefully received. Thankyou
