Total novice too restoration
but set my heart on a 3 bedroom
ruin with no idea how too calculate
costs. Please help!!

    That’s a difficult question to answer with such limited details. However to restore a ruin and assuming it’s not listed in any way would be similar to new build costs which vary from £1000 – £1500 per m2 depending on spec etc.

    Hi I would draw up plans and have them quantity surveyed to determine material costs, then split in into build sections and get labour costs for each stage, ground works, brick laying, windows, plastering , heating , etc. add a little and foul get a reasonable fix on the costs. Go with your gut feel.
