Description
With demand for new build homes to be eco friendly and increasingly energy efficient. Oakwrights have developed a frame cladding and encapsulation system, designed specifically for use with green oak frame construction.
The WrightWall (and WrightRoof) systems were developed as a construction friendly product, offering the best breathable, insulation solution to accompany post and beam oak frame.
The WrightWall system uses only natural, renewable or sustainable materials; generous timber studs, (to last the test of time) timber strand board, recycled wood fibre board’s which are 95% waste and carbon positive (as it locks up more than is used). Hemp, which is one of the ‘greenest’ insulators and possesses good acoustic insulation properties and thermal mass as it does not compress.
The key benefits of the WrightWall System are that it is thermally efficient, possessing a low U-Value, quick to install and it is a breathable wall system, which allows the gentle natural migration of water vapour through the building envelope leading to lower relative humidity levels and a healthier home environment.
