Roofline range from Swish Building Products

A fully integrated bargeboard, fascia and soffit system with a wide range of standard and decorative components and trims for new build and refurbishment projects.

The system includes provision for ventilation to meet the requirements of current Building Regulations. All products complement Swish cladding and window board systems and are available in the same range of colours.

Products include:

Fascias and Bargeboards
A comprehensive range of fascias and bargeboards that contains the necessary elements to:
* provide a full choice of styles for newbuild
* replace degraded timber components
* over-cap existing sound timbers
* use colour to co-ordinate with windows and doors
* create individual & traditional roof styles

Corners and Joints
A range of moulded corners and joints, in Concealed Fix and Face Fix formats, for the Jumbo, Cappair and Cappit ranges of boards. Extruded profiles are also available for joining soffit sections, supporting soffits at the wall and sealing the top of fascia boards in felt roof conditions. Foiled versions ensure the uniform appearance of colour installations. Swish has developed panels that allow the rapid fabrication of neat box end units without much of the measuring and cutting normally associated with this procedure

Soffit Boards
A range of vented and unvented soffit boards suitable for use with Swish fascia boards. Soffit boards are available as flat boards and cladding boards, in unvented and vented formats. A 300mm fluted board is also available. A series of joints and ventilation strips complete the range.

Roof Ventilation
Building regulations require the roof void to be ventilated according to the pitch and shape of the roof covering. Ventilation is required in order to prevent the build up of condensation with consequential damage from rot. Ventilation may be provided through the soffit or, where a plain soffit is required, over the fascia. Swish supplies a range of options for both situations.

Eaves protection
Eaves protection units are available in unvented and vented formats. When vented versions are used the height of the fascia should be reduced by 25mm.

Unvented
Jumbotec is a rigid PVC extrusion. It is fixed to the top of the fascia and supports roofing felt immediately behind the fascia. Unsupported felt often collects water, deteriorates and allows water through to the rafters.

Vented
Jumbovent provides over-fascia protection in a similar way to Jumbotec above. In addition it provides overfascia ventilation equivalent to a continuous 10mm air gap. Jumbovent Combed has an upstanding flexible comb to keep out birds
and large. insects in conjunction with profiled tiles.

Decorative Elements
A range of decorative elements for roofline that allow the designer to create an individual feel to a property while retaining the benefits of a standard system. The range consists of :
* Fascias & bargeboards
* Apex finishes
* Decorative trims

Fixings
Swish Roofline and Cladding components should be installed using A4 marine grade stainless steel fixings. Swish supplies a range of plastic-headed nails and screws for the installation of fascias, bargeboards and soffits. They include:
* Trimtop' plastic-headed stainless steel nails.
* Plastic capped stainless steel screws.
* Stainless steel fixing pins.

In addition Swish supplies a low modulus silicone (C077) conforming to BS 5889 (Type A).
