Svenskhomes energy efficient pre-fabricated buildings are delivered as SIPs (Structural Insulated Panels). This means all the wall sections are pre-constructed with the windows, doors, insulation and vapour barrier fitted. This drastically cuts down on the on-site build time and depending upon the size of the buildings we can be water tight in a day. (Water-tight means all the external and internal load bearing walls, roof trusses, gable ends, roof boards and felt are constructed on site)

The pre-fabricated, SIPs (Structural Insulated Panels) are extremely energy efficient and come with our standard insulation levels of 240mm, triple glazed windows and doors achieving U Values in the walls of 0.17, windows 1.3 and roof 0.15 as standard. The SIPs panels achieve high performance under the Code for Sustainable Homes, and make a significant contribution towards achieving Code scores up to, and including Level 6.
