GBS has over the years developed a sympathetic understanding of period property tailoring services to reproduce the detail found in period windows and doors whilst complying with all the relevant building regulations.

As members of both The Guild of Mastercraftsmen and the British Woodworking Federation we are keen to produce a variety of windows and doors from traditional sliding sash windows to casement windows and a range of period style doors replicating original styles and detail .

All products are made in an uncompromising traditional method using a range of the best possible timbers from the UK and around the world , incorporating modern requirements such as draught stripping and double glazing with low ‘E’ glass.
