Dear All

We are currently looking for UK based couples who own their own place and who would like to give it a dream make-over. Perhaps they are struggling to find the funds to do so, as we aim to help them with a bit of a boost. The programme will follow each couple as they embark on renovating a selected 3 rooms in their home with the help of a £10,000 cash injection. We are really keen to spread the word as far as we can and would love to have some forum members from here, so we hope this may be of interest to you.

• Guys - are you passionate about creating a dream home in an inspired style, but never been given the chance

• Are you full of ideas but not got the funds?

• Girls – do you and your partner spend every trip to B&Q arguing over which colour of paint will work at home?

• Or have you just moved into your partner’s place and think you need to put your personal design stamp on it?

• Would you like a cash injection of £10K to help create your dream home?

To apply or for more information get in contact ASAP by email homes @ renegadepictures.co.uk

NB: To apply you must be the owner or mortgage payer at the property. You should not be living as a tenant in a rented property or be part of a shared ownership scheme that requires another party’s consent to carry out any form of alteration (large or small).

Thanks in advance

Kind regards

We keep wavering between moving and extending for a long time now. We love our house but need more space and have the potential to extend. It's a three bedroom semi with only one bathroom, a very small third bedroom and very little internal storage. It has a double garage - half of which we could lose to living space. It isn't a straight forward shape and we are sure there must be ways to extend if only we could see them. Our house dates to the late 1800's and was probably once a one up one down very humble residence. When we look at other larger properties within our price range they don't have the character or location perks we want to keep. We have some funds to put towards an extention but an extra £10,000 cash injection could make the difference between making it a reality or not, as would the expertise.

Hi,

We also have been debating whether to buy a new house or just renovate our present home, which is in a nice quiet area of Perth, Scotland. We live in a 60's Detached house with 3 bedrooms and also an attic room that unfortunately only has ladder access at the moment,2 reception rooms and a long and narrow kitchen,we would love to be on this new show.

Hi
We live in a lovely terraced georgian house in Portobello that is crying out for some love and attention - especially some extra money to spend on putting in a new kitchen and bathroom so I can live with my teenage daughter in harmony.
There is an attic space which could be renovated into a great place studio/study for us to escape to with some imagination (even a ladder access would be okay).
Sometimes I think it would be cheaper to move but we love being by the sea and close to the city. It's a great opportunity for us to make our dream come true and get a move on with this project if you choose us to be on the show. Just about to have plans submitted so please help with your expertise.

Hi,

We just bought our first home, a small 60's terrace in a nice street in Nunhead, Peckham, SouthEast London. The house is a blank canvas, and we have hundreds of ideas of how to turn it in a house that harmonizes with the rest of a very pretty, tree-lined victorian terraces-street, but does not deny its authentic modern 60's origin. The kitchen and bathroom are a must, but we were hoping to also transform the front of a house into something less ex-council house, into something more, 60's madmen chic. Please consider us for your program! I think your support and expertise would allow us to transform, renovate and even extend our little house into a true home.
Many thanks!

Hi,

My husband and I have just bought our dream home but I lost my job recently and all the bills are on him now.

We now find it impossible to have our dream kitchen due to tight cashflow.

It would be a dream come true if we can win this entry.

Please make it possible.

Thank you.

Hi, I live in my family home which was built by my father 50 years ago. My mother lives in the attached self contained granny flat. However, the main part of the house which is occupied my my daughter and myself is still extremely 'retro'. We have tried to modernise the house ourselves, but it still looks like something out of 'on the buses'..patterned tiles, sunken bath, chocolate bathroom suite, bright yellow kitchen cupboards. They are all well made to size but extremely retro. The lounge has the dreaded stone fireplace with coal fire and is home to lots of spiders!! We now have had gas brought to our home and have had new gas boilers to replace oil fired type. The building is sound, it's just the interior, which because I have lived with it I put up with it.
I feel that I am embarrased to invite visitors into my home, although from the outside it looks lovely.
We really need a new start, your ideas and comments, suggestions etc. would be so helpful......as I just don't know where to begin.
Many thanks..

Hi
We bought our house three years ago, but have run out of funds, we would like to extend our dining room and kitchen as it is a 1930 build with a small kitchen with a pantry which cannot be used and a lean to which had to come down when we had our loft extension. I
would dearly love to have help as I have always lived in a half finished place as my partner is a painter and decorator, He works full time and does not have alot of spare time.
I love him dearly but know it will take him along long long time to finish and would like the children to enjoy the house as well.
Please can you consider us for your makeover series. It would be nice for my partner to come home and not think about work on the house.
Thanks Taiye from south norwood

Please help we brought a three bedroom house five years ago, unfortunately the man we brought it from has made a hash of the work he carried out on the property. In certain rooms we have electric cables going down the wall into a light switch. As you replace the skirting there are huge gaps in the brickwork, which need addressing before you can replace skirting. During this time we have renovated the downstairs bathroom, to our horror we found there was nothing stopping the ceiling joists from moving and had to have the building inspectors in. Having rectified that issue we had to rectify yet another issue with poor plumming in the upstairs bathroom where soiled water was leaking through to the room below. As our family has doubled in size we now need to extened the property. With planning permission in place we are seeking to start the work however funds are tight and with looking after 4 small children and both working full time, the out look is bleak. If this is not bad enough in the back of our heads we both fear what will be uncovered if we ever manage to fulfill our dreams. It would be fantastic to achieve the 2 extra bedrooms and kitchen dinner so that we could relax and spend time together as a family giving the kids the time and attention they so rightly deserve. SOS from a lovely house in desperate need of some TLC.

Hi Ronald,

My name is Sam Joy and I'm the editor of the website. I just wanted to inform you that I don't think this TV show or the auditions for it are still running. I don't however know this for sure and so will not delete this thread just yet but I thought I should let you know that it is very unlikely you will recieve a response.

Kind regards,
Sam
