Found a house to renovate, got a mortgage offer and deposit sorted,
Building society placed a ridiculous retention situation on it, even their surveyor thinks its ridiculous. Has known structural issue in one area. Got quotes and timescales from builders, all ok.
Vendors will not allow any work prior to completion.
Taken a year to get this far, I could write a book!!
Cant see any other way forward other than a bridging loan. Can anyone recommend any finance companies??
Any one got any other ideas or solutions??

I may be able to help we offer what we call Gap Finance. This is basically bridging finance at little more than ordinary mortgage rates. Please contact me if it is of interest.
