Despite opposition from the local community and problems with planning permission, Patrick and Carol have built a beautiful cottage style home rendered and painted in a very gentle cream colour, with a steeply pitched tiled roof, that fits in perfectly with its surroundings and is a vast improvement on the property that stood in its place previously.
To achieve the right look they used a leading designer in this field: Stephen Mattick, who has gone to great trouble to give the Creagh-Coens the design they wanted.
