A Retirement Home Built in Oak - Extra

Using traditional methods, John and Janet Warren have built a charming retirement home in oak, opening their doors to family in the process. Janet Warren's original intention was to build an oak frame home in which she and her husband John could comfortably reside for the rest of their lives. She has ended up creating a masterwork in oak that now serves three generations of their family and won the Readers' Choice Award in the Homebuilding & Renovating Magazine Awards 2009.
