Wet underfloor heating is achieved by the circulation of warm or cool water through pipework embedded in the floor slab or cavity, using a boiler in the winter for heating, or a chiller in the summer for cooling.

Traditional radiator style heating results in the heat rising up around the extremities of the room and then circulating around the ceiling, leaving you with a warm head and cold body and feet. underfloor heating has the opposite, and more comfortable, effect of warm feet and body with a cooler head.
