The question that I would really want to ask would probably not be allowed, so I will ask this instead - "Have you ever sat in on a planning application commitee meeting?" if so you will have noticed that the FIRST thing the commitee look at is a way that the application can be REFUSED. They do not look at how it might be of benefit nor how it might be enhanced, but only how can they find a way to refuse it. With these new changes in policy you have given the commitee ammunition for a refusal EVERY TIME. "How are these policy changes meant to get more homes built?" "Everyone that works in the industry knows they are a complete disaster, how come you can't see it too?" I would also like to know "Why did you feel that the right time to implement these (disastrous) policy changes would be right at the end of the worst recession this country has seen where the hardest hit industry was house building and construction and all associated trades. "Is the way to get a patient breathing again by starving them of oxygen"? "Do you live in Cloud Cuckoo Land?"
