Extension and remodelling scheme of terraced home, West London

Best Extension/Remodel

Cathie Curran has extended and remodelled a run-down terraced house in West London to create a spacious, stylish and sunny home for her family. The project involved a single storey extension to open up the rear of the house, which is now used as an informal dining space, kitchen and separate TV room. The rest of the ground floor has been turned into a tranquil, open plan area which makes the most of the generous ceiling heights. The rest of the property has been extensively remodelled and improved and is now an ideal family home. The project cost £375,000.
