Aggregate House

Vote now for your favourite homeThis thoughtful extension and remodelling of a Georgian terraced home in West London, designed by William Tozer Architects for a family with grown-up children, is one of the best examples we've seen of a home that combines open plan living with flexible space.

Central pods all have concealed doors that swing out to not only provide more privacy if required but also to meet the specific fire safety regulations in a building over two storeys.

Despite its modern, clean-lined exterior, the extension and remodelling project is softened through the introduction of plenty of charming furniture, artefacts, exposed brickwork and natural materials.

This is very much the acceptable, liveable side of the contemporary extension.

Love the idea of the dining room opening onto the garden.

Great! A few more pictures

Great! A few more pictures would be handy though. For example, how they've incorporated the dining skylight into the terrace above.
